When we finally finished building Aryantra, we thought the hard part was done.
Spoiler: it wasn’t.
Because now, we had to sell it.
We started running email campaigns for our product,
no fancy setup, no team, just two of us trying to make things work.
To make it even more fun (and slightly chaotic),
we roped in our siblings to help with cold calling.
“Hey, can you just make a few calls for us?”
Twenty minutes later, they were questioning all their life choices. 😂
For about 25 days, it was the same loop-
emails, calls, rejections, repeat.
We heard every kind of NO possible.
Some polite.
Some brutally honest.
Some that made us close the laptop and go on long silent walks.
But we didn’t stop.
Because all it takes is one YES.
And one fine evening , it finally happened.
A company replied.
They didn’t just show interest.
They said:
“Can you come down to Bangalore to discuss this?”
That was it.
Our first ever YES.
And just like that, our first business trip was happening.
No suits.
No fancy presentations.
Just two college kids, one prototype, and a big dream-
heading to Bangalore like it was Silicon Valley.
