We finally flew to Bangalore. ✈️ Our first ever business trip. This time, not two of us- we were now a team of four. Four college students, one product, and absolutely no idea how “business trips” actually work. We booked the tickets, carried our laptops like they were trophies, and told ourselves, “Alright, time to act like professionals.” 😅 We were supposed to stay for a few days. We ended up staying for a whole week. And those 7 days changed everything for us. For the first time, we saw how the real market actually works. Meetings weren’t like classroom presentations. There were no polite nods or fake smiles. Just real conversations, tough questions, and a lot of learning. We listened more than we talked. We took notes. We adapted. Every night, instead of sleeping, we sat together fixing bugs, improving the product, and testing new features. We wanted Aryantra to fit perfectly into our client’s system-no excuses. By the end of those 7 days, the product was fully customized and ready to go live. That felt like a huge win. We flew back to Hyderabad tired, but proud. For the first time, it felt like we were building something that actually mattered. Fast forward one month later, we lost that client. No drama. No shouting. Just a polite email that said, “Hey, we’ve decided to move in a different direction.” It stung. Because we’d worked day and night, given everything we had- and suddenly, it was gone. But that’s how the real world works. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. And that loss taught us more than any success could. We went back to the drawing board - smarter, sharper, and hungrier than ever.
