I didn’t just finish a simulation.
I got a glimpse of how world-class engineering actually works — inside JPMorganChase
Over the past few weeks, I completed the Software Engineering Job Simulation with Forage.
It wasn’t easy.
→ Setting up real development environments.
→ Integrating Kafka for live data streaming.
→ Connecting H2 databases.
→ Building REST APIs and controllers from scratch.
Every task felt like stepping into a production team’s workflow — no fluff, no theory, just real problems.
I made mistakes.
I debugged until 1 AM.
But that’s what it takes to grow from writing code to thinking like an engineer.
This experience reminded me why I started coding in the first place — to solve problems that matter and build systems that scale.
If you ever get the chance to do a job simulation like this — take it.
It teaches you more about software engineering than most classrooms ever could.
Proud of this milestone.
Hungry for what’s next!!
