For the longest time, I wanted to show up on LinkedIn.
But every day, I found a brand-new excuse that sounded very official in my head.
Too busy.
Too tired.
Too unsure.
Too convinced the algorithm had a personal vendetta against me.
But the real reason was simple.
I was afraid of looking like I had no idea what I was doing.
Then one afternoon, I scrolled through LinkedIn and saw people sharing real stories.
Not perfect stories.
Not corporate-approved stories.
Just honest moments that actually helped others.
And something clicked.
I realized no one is out here expecting Shakespeare.
They just want something real.
Maybe even something that makes them smile instead of groan.
So I made one decision:
I would show up even if the post felt small.
I started posting.
I started experimenting.
I started ignoring that tiny voice that said, “Delete this before someone sees it.”
And slowly, things changed.
Writing got easier.
Ideas came faster.
My confidence grew because action finally replaced hesitation.
Here is the formula that worked for me:
→ Start with one honest thought
→ Write like you talk
→ Post before your brain talks you out of it
And now?
I love showing up and sharing here with you all on LinkedIn.
What started as something I avoided is now the part of my day I look forward to the most.
